Shannon Mahoney began her dance training at the age of 2 ½  at  Academy of Dance Arts.  She began dancing competitively by the time she was 6 years old at various competitions around San Diego and Los Angeles.  While attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree, she danced for the CU Express dance team for 3 years performing at every home football, basketball, and volleyball game. In addition to home game performances she competed with colleges around the country at the American Dance Association Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.   We are so happy to welcome Shannon to the ADA staff where she will be teaching both jazz performance and jazz technique classes.
